Regulatory Hosting FAQs

Are appointed representatives (ARs) regulated by the FCA?

Although ARs aren’t directly regulated by the FCA, the principal firm is responsible for making sure their activities comply with the relevant regulations otherwise both firms could be liable. It is important that the principal firm and the AR have a good working relationship and communicate regularly to make sure their goals are aligned.
