Laven Partners retains its ISO 9001:2008 Q.M. Certification

Posted on 15 Nov 2014

Laven Partners’ Independent Process of Operational Due Diligence (IPODD) service has reached the end of its 3-year assessment cycle of the ISO 9001:2008 management system standards by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Laven’s internationally recognized due diligence service was first certified in 2009 and has since then been subject to annual assessments by the BSI. In September 2012 it was reassessed for the effectiveness and quality against the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standards and was recertified for the next 3 years.

As part of the BSI’s Continuing Assessment visit in 2010, Laven Partners was subjected to a review of the quality manual it has in place and also the customer feedback processes it uses. In 2011, other areas of the service were reviewed, including internal audit procedures and their effectiveness in highlighting areas of improvement. Finally, at this year’s strategic review for the recertification, the BSI focused on covering aspects such as management commitment, effectiveness of interactions and continued compliance with the quality manual.

Laven Partners is proud to announce that all processes were found to be detailed and effective, without any non-conformities raised.

Jerome Lussan, CEO of Laven Partners comments: “Over the past three years and ever since our initial certification, we have experienced a surge of interest in our due diligence services. For some institutions, the losses resulting from frauds and/or operational mismanagement have caused damage to their reputation and client trust, which has led to a much stronger demand for our methodological approach in assessing such risks.”

The continued certification adds to the unique and well recognized brand that Laven Partners maintains. It also confirms that the firm has well defined processes in place that are reviewed and improved upon on an ongoing basis. Laven Partners continues to be well positioned to serve the ever-increasing demand of its institutional client base for independent service providers with recognized credentials.

Lussan continues: “This ISO recertification means that our due diligence service follows systems and controls that ensure the highest standards of review and analysis, leading to a high level of customer satisfaction as evidenced through the responses we have gathered from customer surveys. This recertification proves Laven Partners’ ability to consistently provide a product that meets clients’ needs which shall ultimately benefit investors who use our services.”
